What's the best medicine on the market to combat a yeast infection?

A prescription medication prescribed by your physician is generally the best way to go. There are a lot of OTC meds for this but might not be as effective as the Rx type.
dyflucan (pill taken by mouth, no mess!!!!) I spelled it phonically. O'and it's prescription only.
I started taking probiotics after I had been on antibiotics for while (they gave me a yeast infection because they kill all the bacteria-even the good kind) but the probiotics supply what will fight the yeast infection. Theres lots over the counter, probably at like gnc, i got mine at trader joes. Also, in the meantime, you can get the over the counter cream stuff at the drugstore.
buy some Masengill vinegar douche and use it 2-3 times a day for 3 days. or there are OTC creams you can use.

Remember first and foremost that every body reacts differently. What works for me isn't necessarily going to work for you. I like the 3 day Monistat, why not the 1 day? For me the 1 day BURNS like nobody's business. 3 day is completely tolerable for me. As for diflucan I dig that too but when it runs out, you have to have a Rx for it and you can't always get in to have your doc write one up.
