Is it possible for a 1 year old boy to get a yeast infection?

This woman at work keeps saying that her son has one. She is known to exaggerate. Is it possible for a child that young to get on?

Yes- you can get a yeast infection at any age, and both male and female can get one. Source(s): I am a nurse for over 21 years
most definitely. i got one when i was a baby
the good ole days
any one can, it comes from your hands, so if you are playing with yourself wash first and after, I guess this kid is playing with himself or someone else is playing with him and has given it to him or his mother is not as clean when she changes him ,as she should be.
Thrush in infants is yeast. This is very possible.
Of course. Nothing exotic about it. People get these types of infections sometimes in folds of skin. Antibiotics can predispose people to yeast infection. Thrush is a type that affects the mouth.
