Menstruation - Some women experience reoccurring yeast infections following every menstrual cycle. Others may not experience an infection that frequently, but are more susceptible around this time.

鈥?Pregnancy 鈥?Because of the change in hormones some women experience overgrowth of yeast upon pregnancy. Some feel this overgrowth of yeast can be a contributing factor in miscarriage.

鈥?Medication 鈥?A well-known contributing factor is the use of antibiotics some women get a yeast infection every time they start on antibiotics.
鈥?Other medications include steroids and oral contraceptives

鈥?Moisture and constant irritation of the vaginal area
