My friend ate bread before her tongue piercing was healed. now she has a yeast infection in her mouth. help? A few things could've happened, and neither of them would be caused by eating bread. Either A: The piercer didn't do the piercing 100% sanitarily, or B: Your friend didn't keep the piercing clean by following their instructions. I suggest to contact the place she got it pierced. If it's happened to other people they've pierced, they'll know how to help her. psh. i find that hard to believe. I don't think bread had anything to do with it. She'll have to see a doctor, who most likely will prescribe Gentian violet. Was she on antibiotics recently? Because that can cause thrush/yeast infections in the mouth as well as other areas. New dental proceedures can also cause irritation and make it easy for yeast to grow...so I'm sure a new piercing could contribute too. that didnt come from eating bread i dont care what she told you lmfao just playing hope she feels better but that was too easy If this is not a joke (!) eat yogurt. Lots and lots of yogurt. You can't get a yeast infection from ingesting yeast! That's so ridiculous, I don't even know where to begin! It's more likely thrush, and she needs to get on an antibiotic. Go to a doctor. Sounds terrible. |
