Ballpark price for cat ear bacterial/yeast infection meds?

My oldest cat has to go to the vet tomorrow, to have his ears checked. I've noticed lately, they seem to really bother him, he meows really loudly when scratching them. No ear mites, I've checked, and checked, done the q-tip swab on a dark surface check, nothing. So, I suspect its probably some sort of bacterial or yeast infection in his left ear. How much do these sort of meds usually run? I'm trying to decide if I need to get a pay day advance for it,lol. Just a ballpark would be good $20ish,$50ish? Plus vet visit which will run me $36.00. First time any of my kitties have needed meds, so I'm clueless as to what they typically cost!

About twenty five bucks
About $28 for Tresaderm Its good stuff it works well.
Yeast infection meds are OTC and about $6 to $12 I think. Antibiotics if needed could be about the same or $20. Don't treat without knowing what it is, or you could make it worse or harm your kitty. Good luck!
