Can you spread a yeast infection? |
I know that I don't have a STD because I was checked when I was pregnant and haven't had any other partners since except my hubby. I believe I have a yeast infection but we had sex and now he has 2 raw spots on him. Can you spread a yeast infection? Yes it is possible a woman can spread a yeast infection to a man and vice versa. Usually if a man has sex with a woman who has an infection he won't get it but sometimes he does. In that case, he needs to go to the doctor to get it treated otherwise he'll continue to re-infect you, like with an STD. However a yeast infection in a man doesn't cause raw spots. Unfortunately that sounds like an STD, possibly syphilis. Syphilis is a bacterial STD that is treatable with antibiotics and is somewhat harmless if it's in the primary stage. Syphilis is the only bacterial STD that can be very dangerous if left untreated. You and your husband should get tested to rule out anything. Even if it's actually Syphilis or some other STD, that is not an indication of infidelity. STD's can remain dormant in the body for a long time before flaring up. Yes you defiantly can spread a yeast infection. Actually not only can you give it to your husband but he can also give them to you. You can by over the counter creams but you may need to go to the doctor also, they can give you pills for your husband to take. Yes you can. Go on line & resurch it. yes you can to both of could past it over to each other untill your both go to the doctor to be treat for the yeast infection so dont have sex without rubber on his dick Yes men can get your yeast infection and what happens you past it to each other. Talk to your doctor. I never heard of raw spots from yeast infection. He needs to be checked out. yes but its called a different name ,he will and you also will have to go to the dr and be examine.it will not be painful and the dr will prescribe medication for you and your husband.its not a std,so relax. Yes you can spread it and you can give it to your unborn child. There are things that you can do to get rid of it and you may need to get a prescription from your physician. Both of you need to be treated at the same time so that one of you does not reinfect the other one. Especially now that you are pregnant and your hormones are out of whack, you maybe prone to a lot things that you normally may not have gotten. Make sure that you are wearing cotton sided underewear, not thongs, or nylon or silk, make sure that the cotton side is facing your private part, and when you sweat, make sure that you shower and are completely dry before putting your underwear on this is one of the causes of yeast infections tightly fitting garments that do not allow air to flow. The reason I am saying to get a prescription is so that you don't try anything over the counter that may harm your unborn child. |
