Is 16 too young to have a yeast infection?


is it common at my age. also, if i go to the doctor, will it most likely be a girl, or can i request one because i'd honestly be so much more comfortable.

Yeast infections can be contracted at any age. even female babies can get one if bathed with bubble bath.

You can request a female doctor. simply look for one in the physicians guide.

iv gotten them since i was 14 yes its normal you can get them from wet bathing suits when worn all the time panty hose and really tight underware and pants and if your having sex and you don't wash keep clean you can by medican for it is easy and it goes away a week at the latiset
i got them before when i was little like 6 (but not fromsex!!)
i wouldnt say its common but i would guess its person to person...sure you can ask for a girl dr
