How long does it take for a yeast infection to clear up natually.? |
Its been over two months already and I'm really tired of it!! Oh girl I know how you feel. When I was on the pill years ago I would get one EVERY month. I was miserable. The pill made my system get all messed up. It's very difficult to eliminate it naturally, however you can help prevent them by wearing cotton underwear. Do not use soap in that delicate area, and cut down on your sugar intake. Oh, and don't douche. Yeast feeds on sugar, and warm moist environment. Also, right around your period is when you're most likely to get them. Watch your carbs because they convert to sugar and your alcohol intake if any...again yeast. Try taking acidophilus, it really helped me. Take it everyday. I even give it to my girls when they have to take antibiotics and it helps them too. You're going to have to bite the bullet and get some Monistat because yeast infections lasting that long don't usually go away by themselves. Good luck to you, I feel for you because yeast infections used to haunt me. By naturally do you mean, without any kind of over the counter treatment or anything. Just waiting for it to clear up? If so, not gonna happen. i ahve the same thing uggh i dont know ive had it 4 a year If it has already been that long, it may be causing other problems, like tissue damage. some yeast infections do not clear up naturally, especially when there is such a large amount of infectious agent (as there now, since your body is obviously not winning its fight). Use some over-the-counter medication, or see a doctor. You could be inadvertantly damaging your reproductive organs. get one of those over the counter nasty goopy treatments, suffer for 2 or 3 nights with goopiness, and be done with it instead of letting it go on for any longer. sometimes a period will reset the pH in the vagina, but sometimes not. if this is your first 'yeast' infection, you need to go to the dr to make sure it isn't anything more serious. 28 years with a vagina. . . blech Are you using a Prescription ..? prescription for yeast infections do help much faster! call your Obgyn if your treatment isn't helping. seems like a long time..2 months! I hope you sooon get the help you need! |
