Have you ever done kundalini yoga and did it buggar up your life through faulty practice? What effects did?

it have?

Please don't answer if you have no knowledge of what kundalini yoga is - It is not the same as the yoga followed by the masses at night school

haha...it happened to you too ? :)

to make the story short
very powerful yoga, and it changed my life gradually to such an extent that i couldn't keep up with it....events were arising and i had to go there, do that, the whole energy in it were so powerful and i couldn't deal with them well...and i was like losing something everytime i failed riding on the energies of every meeting, every event, everything had it's new meaning and cause of my instability at the time (financially and emotionally) i was a bit phased out and didn't expect that starting practicing kundalini would change my whole world to this extent.....

very very powerful experience.....i had to quit all spiritual activities and readings and even thinking about it for like 3-4 months for it to come down to my normal usual world where everything is relaxed etc etc...couldn't deal with it at the time.....too strong for me toooo intense....everything was like vibrating and events were driving my relaxed style of life nuts :)) at the time......

Although I know what kundalini yoga is supposed to do, I can't say that I've had any problems with faulty practice because I've never attempted it! That being said, one person, who I half believe is sort of a new ager flake (fluffy bunny to my pagan friends--deep bows!) said that I had "opened up my kundalini." I can't say that I feel any differently than I ever have.

I have done Kundalini yoga in the past over a short period of two weeks, whilst on a Sikh student camp. We were taught by a very experienced/quite regognised tutor called Sat Jeevan Khalsa.
Anyhow I thought it was amazing, I enjoyed every minute of it :)
And I suppose I didn't do it long enough for it too "bugger" me up! I would definatly take it up again sometime in the future.
Good day ;)
