Is YOGA suitable for me? (for yoga and other sports experts)?

Hi there,

im skinny (45 Kg wieght and im 1,5 Meters)
also lately i have discovered that im too stressed, tensed and i BLOW OUT my anger quickly...

now...im searching for a suitable sport which could help me organise my nutrition (i dont eat alot and they say its due to less exercise) and a sport that could let me calm down, concentrate more, be quite, lowers the level of stress and anger, i have tried to learn guitar and teachers keep telling me (concentrate, too much stress wont work)

so....
i was thinking of yoga, if its yoga or another sport just explain the benefits and if there's any helpful links i would be grateful...

p.s. i prefer a sport which i could exercise at home and learn by my own, i dont have too much time (work...yeah thats why im stressed out)

Thanx

You would benefit greatly from Yoga.
Do Pranayam regularly. Stress will go.
Take a protein based diet.

We all do Yoga from the CD of Swami Ramdeva . You can google or buy the CD .
Wish you best.

Yes, yoga would be excellent for you, there are many yoga kits that you can buy that comes with a mat, blocks, belt and DVD(instructions). Its great for muscle toning and mental relaxation. But if your stressed, practice some calming meditations might be useful for you. If your really stressed, perhaps you should look into getting a different job. Stress could make you sick, especially if you don't have a good quality diet and unhappy at work.

I relieve stress by running, cycling, yoga, kayaking and dragonboating, but I have the time to do these things. When I feel better physically, I feel better mentally.

Good luck
