I want to take yoga...?

I want to do yoga classes at the gym, but will I need to to anything in preparation for them?

Nope just show up. Bring a towel, water bottle and yaoga mat (they may provide one for you). Yoga is the BEST! I just started about a month ago and I am happier, healthier and a lot more toned. You'll do warm up and cool down so you don't need to do anything extra before or after. Enjoy!

* Drink plenty of water before class, but do not eat for 2-3 hours before class.

* Wear light weight, close-fitting (but comfortable) work-out clothes.

* If you have a yoga mat, please bring it with you, otherwise you may use one supplied by the studio. A limited number of blocks and straps are also available.

* Towels are supplied by the studio or you can bring a small hand towel.

* Bring water in a container with a lid (no open bottles in class).

* You do not need to be a member of Vantage Fitness or Evolution Health & Fitness in order to attend class. You can however take advantage of the shower and changing facilities provided. Free parking is also available.

* Out of courtesy to other students, please do not wear perfume or scented lotions to class.

* Be aware that lotion on your hands or feet can cause you to slip on your mat during practice.

Yoga is a mental excercise as well as a physical excercise.
The best technique for any person contemplating to take up yoga is not to contemplate but to concentrate - on how yoga and its techniques is escalating into a world wide epidemic where yoga exercises are helping ailing patients and others who seek peace of mind.
