I'm experiencing muscle pain from some Yoga stretches.....? |
The back of my legs are in pain due to some stretching yoga poses I've done recently. I'm new to Yoga so these muscles are very tight. Should I rest them for a few days before doing more Yoga....or should I keep on doing the Yoga with the pain? Thanks. It really depends on the kind of pain you are experiencing. Are you having the usual kind of pain that comes from overworking muscles that aren't used to it, like when you work out and get really sore the next day? Or is it different? You should never strain out your muscles to far. Pain is a sign that it is working. But, you shouldn't do it constantly. You should always rest. I would recommend trying every other day. Then gradually work it to everyday. This way your body can get used to it and it won't be as painful! =) you should stretch your legs out before doing yoga. It might hurt for awhile, then you will get used to the pain |
