When I started to do yoga I gained a inch in height. Could it be the yoga.? |
I am 45 years old. so how could I grow taller at this age?wow. You stretched something Barbi! strangely enough it could be. The answer seems to be No, you can't actually grow from yoga...just like you can't pull on a blade of grass and make longer. What I see happen is people who practice yoga stretch and strengthen your muscles, which in turn helps with your posture...even if you think you had good posture already.You might not slouch, but you could of had a pelvic tilt...or tight pectorial muscles which cause you to hunch slightly. are you doin inversion exercises? if so, than yes. What time of day was it when you last measured yourself? We lose about an inch during the day due to gravity's effect on our spine. If you first measured yourself in the evening or afternoon and measured yourself the second time in the morning or around noon, that might be the answer. certain stretches will help ppl gain some height. it must be the steroids you have been taking! now your are crazy,check the tape again I'd believe it, yes. |

You stretched something Barbi! ...There are a ton of transportation poses that I use with my kids classes all the time! We actually take "yoga field trips" without leaving our yoga mats!
