Yoga-Lotus pose problems!?


I am experienced in yoga.

When I perform lotus pose, the leg I cross first seems to be in a wrong position. It hurts my ankle (the ankle of the foot I stacked first, it gets pinned into too much inversion),

and my sit bone of the leg I stacked first seems to be pressing into the floor more than the other sit bon.

Any troubleshhoting tips would be greatly appreciated.

you dont need to do a full lotus...half lotus is enough...some asanas and even pranayama never insist on lotus pose,so dont be scared...
