I recently started yoga and belly dancing...results?


I recently started doing yoga and belly dancing for my exercise routine. Do you know roughly how long it will take before I see results? I do it for 45 min-1 hour daily.

1. The results of your yoga practice depend on your present physical health.

2. If you are young (20 to 30 years) and do yoga with full enthusiasm and concentration of mind, you can feel the changes in your body in say 2 weeks.

3. For aged persons and if body is not fit, they can positively feel the results after a month.

4. In any case, continue yoga for 2 months and you can feel the amazing effect it can produce on your body.

5. When you can effortlessly do the basic asanas and start enjoying yoga, that is the real bliss.

6. In addition to yoga, follow healthy yoga diet principles.

Wow, I just started doing belly dancing as well!

But, I haven't really noticed any difference. But, give it like 2 or 3 weeks. Since it is not that hard of a work out you really aren't burning to much so it might take a little longer. But, I have notice that my shoulders are soar from the routines.

Ummm....if you keep doing it regularly it shouldn't take long. But remember to do other things like sit-ups, and running. Then you should see results sooner.
