Yoga vs. Cardio (like running, jogging, etc)?

Which results in faster weight loss -- Yoga or Cardio (like jogging)?

and on a side note, please answer this also:
Last week I ran a mile two times, and this week, three times (mon, tue, wed) so far.
I am extremely out of shape, so it's hard for me to run even one mile. But now that I've run a mile 5 times, shouldn't it get easier?
When should I expect to see some changes in my weight?

thank you for your answers

hands down cardio will as it burns more calories per unit of exercise and causes the metabolic rate to remain elevated longer after the conclusion of exercise, which is where the real fat loss takes place. low intensity forms of exercise are the least effective in terms of fat loss and cause minimal of any increase the resting metabolic rate.

Cardio.

And, if you run at the same pace, it will get easier. However, as your body adjust, you will probably naturally run faster until you feel as tired as you did before. Sure, it still hurts, but its a sure sign of increasing fitness levels. Keep it up, and keep pushing yourself.

Quit using frustrating diet and exercise plans that only work a little at best and are agonizing to use. You know the TV show "The Biggest Loser" well check this out, this was the plan that two of the biggest "losers" on that show used, it obviously works quick. .

i think cardio is better because yoga is so you can get relaxed
i think you wold expect changes soon probably a week or two

Definitely cardio. Yoga has to do more with muscle toning and balance.
