Yoga is definitely helpful in fat loss.Yoga has eight parts or divisions.Asanas (Postures or Exercises)& Pranayama are such parts.In asanas 1.surya-namaskar 2.utthit dwi-padasan 3.sarvang-asan
4.pavanmukt-asan will be helpful.& in Pranayama 1.Kapal-bhati 2.Anulom-vilom 3.Bhasrika etc can be useful
But I also suggest you as has been suggested by Rajan (first answerer) to find out a good institute or a proper Yoga teacher without which it can be harmful
While we learn Yoga it is made clear that as a trainer of wild animals in forest trains them slowly n gradually similarly Yoga should be taught

Yogasanas definetly benefit in weight loss. Yogasan/exercises performed with proper inhaling & exhaling of air are more beneficial.To lose weight first of all you do ten sun solutions and there after lye down on floor or hard bed and make zero by rotating your both the legs in clock wise and anti-clockwise direction and do Urdhvahastottanasana Ek Pad Utanasana and Pawan mukta asanas. Stop taking junk and spicy food, deep-fry food, processes food, ice cream, high fat diets chocolates, sweets, wafers and high carbohydrate food like potatoes, rice and pasta as these items lose nutrition balance and causes deposition of excess fat on body.

Yoga is a completely misunderstood and exploited concept.Yoga ia more for the mind than body. You concentrate and control the body and not otherwise.

It should be taught by a leaned teacher and has to be practiced under his guidance. Many of the yoga practices are very difficult to practice and please notice all the yoga practitioners are thin and not fat.

For each disease or function or cure a separate yoga is advisable. So please visit a real guru and not some half baked teacher.

Yoga helps in weight loss. Through it's mind/body connection. You'll be able to control your diet and eating habits, combined with it's simple yet effective asanas. You'll need to be consistent with your practice.

d first answer is absurd..........yoga is good for both body n soul...............................fat lose is possible....ask me i have tried n i was successful..........i mean it is slow but it realy helps.
in my case neither deiting nor exersice helped ,but yoga did.

ya yoga is helpful to fat loss. u can join yoga center if u have near ur home. aur u can watch yoga from tv. and do practice it woth watching it on tv. i cant expalain exercise on ans. It will do with instrustion given by prefect person who have knowledge about yoga.
