Should I do yoga, pilates, or spinning? |
i'm not in very good shape; i have gained 20 pounds over the past 2 years and work a lot so don't exercise much. When i do exercise i usually just do about 30 minutes of the elliptical. how strenuous is pilates? i don't even know what it is. i want to take a class to get me in better shape. Any advise?
Go with yoga and breathing exercises. It's very good for your body shape. It will give you that mind/body connexion. And you'll be more healthy. Here is a nice free yoga e-course for you: If you are trying to burn fat what you need to do is CARDIO! Therefore, spinning will be your best choice. Maybe once you start losing weight you can add in either the Yoga or Pilates. You're not going to lose weight in Pilates, that's for toning. dhd |
