DO YOU THINK YOGA WILL HELP TO CURE CANCER?

DO YOU THINK YOGA WILL HELP TO CURE CANCER?

Yoga guru Ramdev of India claims that regular practice of seven breathing exercises or pranayams popularised by him have successfully 'cured' cancer within six to nine months. He also claims that "Cancer of the breast, liver, prostate, uterus, pituitary gland, brain tumours and even leukaemia, can be cured by practising the seven breathing exercises," he claimed.

In India he has become very propular and many of his disciples whom I have met and discussed the point of curing Cancer have recommended Yoga.

I know that Yoga is a good form of low-impact exercise for releasing stress and tension. Its stretches and poses can be modified to fit the needs or limitations of individual patients. Cancer patients who have had surgery should consult their doctor before starting a yoga program.

But I have my own reservations to comment on this and also doubts as I have not come accross any pation who have been cured by practicing Yoga. But at the same time if there is a cure for this deadly disease by any mothod it is most welcomed one.

Apart from Baba Ramdeve and his disciples, noneelse have claimed that Yoga can cure Cancer.

I have seen few patients get cured for this disease only by the traditional treatments like. Chemotherpy and Radiation Therapy with Surgery alone. Even these have not given any permenat cure and in 95% of the cases the disease show the ugly face again after some years.

So there is no harm in trying the other therapies if they are not contradicting the traditional treatments as above, as we are all concerned in eradicaing cancer. -

Its best to do something, and if yoga gives you a purpose then anything is possible. It is important to consider your expectations carefully as these may be counter productive when trying to concentrate. The ability to practice yoga can be effected by your health so it is best to concentrate on practises that are comfortable for you. Understanding your energy and how to best use it and conserve it, may be one of the best outcomes from yoga. Every day of my life I seem to discover new insights towards how I use my energy and how I can improve myself.
So whilst I believe yoga will have benefits for your health, it won't directly cure cancer. One important outcome may be that your immune system starts to work efficiently and overcomes the cancer with the help of some medicine. Though it is important to love and forgive with your new found energy. Seek new knowledge from all sorts each day and refresh your beliefs about your self and the world.

No. It won't 'cure' cancer but it will make it may make you feel better while fighting cancer . . the healthier you stay the stronger your body is to withstand often brutal treatment required to rid the body of cancer. As someone who has been directly on the frontlines of this monster of a disease I can assure you that the types of cancer that are aggressive and fast moving can double in as little as a few weeks. Nothing but an aggressive treatment will stop that lighting fast progression . . I've seen it . . and I've seen what it does.
My sons cancer was under control in December of this year. He had a CT with only minimal disease . . he came off chemo for a health related issue and was changing to another chemo, but he never got the chance to restart . . four weeks later he was filled with cancer, the cancer was beyond control and he died in early February. That is how fast cancer can progress. Don't fool around with it.

There is no known method by which cancer can be cured.

All the methods presently available and explored, including surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, Ayurveda, homeopathy, yoga, Naturopathy etc. have resulted in cure in some of the cases. There are also reported and documented instances of spontaneous remission, which mean somebody diagnosed with cancer afterward had no signs/symptoms/pathology of cancer without any treatment.

Yoga will contribute to making you healthy. It is incorrect to think of curing cancer. Cancer is a result of infections in the body. Get rid of ALL infections and cancer will not be present as a disease. We all have cells in our bodies that are cancerous. The lymphatic system, if working properly gets rid of these cells.

Your mind is a very powerful thing and by focusing on positive things like Yoga, this will help keep you healthy, just as eating good quality food, eliminating toxins from your environment, as well as many other things. It has been found that over 82% of ALL cancer patients have a mind set that is negative and destructive to the success of them getting well. When asked if they will do anything to be well, their typical answer is NO using QRA testing methods.

It is not true that the only method of dealing with cancer is drugs. In fact, chemotherapy is abusive and ineffective. The statistics are clear that only 2.1% of ALL chemotherapy treatments result in the person living past 5 years. Breast cancer has a 1.4% survival rate of 5 years after getting that abusive chemotherapy. That is not success. Since over 99% of ALL cancers are due to infections in the body, removing the cancer without removing the infections results in cancer's returning. We know that biofilms made of sticky polysaccharide sacs harbor bacteria, viruses, etc. and prevent the body's immune system from getting rid of these. When they grow to over 14 micro meter in size, they spawn new biofilms that can go to other parts of the body causing cancer. To treat a cancer site as is being done by the medical community without finding the "root causes," only solves the problem temporarily. Since many people get chemotherapy and radiation to solve this problem, it's no wonder cancer is the number one killer of people in America today.

good luck to you

Best

Yoga is every bit as effective as prayer* in treating cancer.

No, it can not.
It may help you cope with the treatment and mental anguish of having cancer.

no...but the true practice of pranayamas..wud help in obtaing more antioxidants..so may b helpful in preventin....

No but it might make you feel better through relaxation.

Absolutely Not!

Yoga uses no medicines as other systems do.

Yoga is also not a simple system as we come across different exercises, workouts, weights, swimming's etc etc.

Yoga is way of life which works on physical, mental and spiritual levels of the individual. Please refer to Ashtang Yoga of Rishi Patanjali ji.

I have seen/experienced that if one performs/practice yoga in a routine along with contolling his eating habits, good behaviour, right thinking etc he/she rarely/never falls ill/sick and looks/is quite younger to his actual age. No gray hairs or baldness, no sunken cheeks, very good memory, excellent tolerance etc.

I have experienced all this that there is really a magic in this science. After doing yoga u never feel tired/exhausted but rejuvenated, specially after performing pranayama. Mental state takes u to a entirely a different world, while u r in meditation.

Ur question is regarding whether it cures cancer. Everybody is doubtful. Even the medical fraternity failed in this respect till date to cure cancer in all forms.

Whether yoga can cure cancer, one take this in ones mind that it would cure. Continue with the medicine too. One thing is sure that it keeps the diseases away, this is 100% sure.

There r not any side effects and nothing to loose, no medicines. Simple- simple postures with bit of pranayama and meditation. No buying of anything.

Definitely it will assist the other system of medicine in curing/curtailing the disease as one's immune/tolerance system gets better and better.

no, if u are patient of cancer, only medicine can work if it is in first stage, yoga just help to live some more time, but if u are not a patient of cancer than it helps to cure u from different diseases,it increase your immunisation power

Yes panayam(dip breathing) can helps
Cause of cancer id deficit of antioxidants. This can be improved by taking more oxygen in body. Another source of antioxidants is fruits & vegetables.
