What should I do to make myself more flexible - yoga, pilates, or other? |
I am ridiculously unflexible, and want to be more flexible. I would like to be able to do the splits (in the end!). What should I do to gain this flexibility - yoga, pilates, or something else? Suggestions are very welcome :) Definately yoga and practice it every day! pilates is more for streangth |

Duri... Yes, why not.. yoga is very nice for your height issues.. You'll need to do it and be consistent! But, please, don't expect results overnight. Choose your preferred yoga exercises and go ... Any thing by Tara Fraser is very good. ...There are so many different types of meditation you can use. Just sitting in your sofa, eyes closed, relaxing music or sounds from nature, can do great things for you. Even just for 5 minutes each ... Thick books with hard covers. If there's any that you don't need anymore, you could wrap them in duct tape so they don't open up. I have found this to work well for poses like trian... The nice seamless. tagless ones with smooth edges really don't show. I get mine from Victoria's Secret. Tehre are some from Target that are really nice too. ...Down dog, childs pose, tree and camel. Yoga is relaxing, challenging and it makes you flexible. It centers me, and I enjoy doing it every day if I can. Joining a studio would be a good investment ... |
