Anyone know any yoga?

I often find it hard to sleep and also often get stressed about school work so was wondering if anybody knows any good yoga websites which show the poses but also say what they are supposed to help, ie relieve pain etc
Thanks for any suggestions!
10 points on offer as always!

The Wii Fit has Yoga exercises and is really good because the balance board ensures you get into the positions correctly and the right amount of pressure is used, etc.

But, it is quite pricey so if you can't afford that you could buy a DVD? I recently got Geri Halliwell's yoga DVD from www.play.com for 拢3.99. Yes I know it's a few years old and she is quite annoying but the DVD is really good and much better than attempting to copy pictures on the internet. x

I've found searching through amazon for yoga and workout dvds really helpful. Then i search the ones with the best reviews for clips on youtube. Then you can get a feel for what they are like and which one is best for you. Then you can get a dvd that your almost positive will help you or you can just browse youtube for yoga tips and hints and exercises (:

I cannot remember which website I got them from but the best way to relieve stress with yoga is to stand straight up with your shoulders back arms up then bring one foot in to your inner thigh. Bringing you're arms into a praying position. It really helps with my stress.
Also helps with ballance.
Another one is to come into a triangle hands in front and just stretch. I went to target for all of my dvds on yoga. They're cheap there. Or try a barnes and nobles.

Hope this helps

http://www.santosha.com/asanas/ is a good website which shows you how to do the positions and which parts of the body they help!!

If you have a wii then wii-fit is great for yoga and muscle workouts.

Or you could join a weekly yoga class which is really good exercise and you can ask the teacher to give you some positions to help specific parts of the body.

Good luck...

Hi, I would suggest buying a wii fit if you have a wii?? There are loads of yoga excercises on there, and a trainer to teach you how to do them!! Kat :-)
