When you lose weight, you also lose strength (especially if your weight loss is rapid.

You probably could lose 5kg in two months, but you're likely to get flabby and depressed if you do. Untrained (or 'de-trained') muscle feels exactly like fat, and feeling tired all the time reduces your motivation.

Your co-ordination and stamina will suffer if your diet is limited, so you will lose a lot of dance ability.

Instead of losing weight, you could try becoming more compact and streamlined, by strengthening and stretching your weakest muscles. You can do this by dancing in a number of different styles, for example adding Hip-Hop, Capoeira and Flamenco sessions if you currently do Ballet. Learning a Martial Art would be a good idea, because you can see your strength and agility increase very quickly, and the daily technique-practice and extra self-confidence will help to keep you motivated.

Rather than doing your yoga as an activity session twice weekly, you should do some in the morning when you get up (an energising sequence), and again before you sleep (a soporific sequence to relax you).

Increasing the amount of activity you regularly do, will mean that you have to increase your energy intake as well. To fuel three or more activity sessions, as well as running and swimming, you should probably aim for at least 2500 kcal (Calories) a day, rising to 3000 on particularly busy days.
