Will I see any benefits from starting yoga at 27 weeks pregnant?


Im 27 weeks pregnant and have only just started swimming. I am also thinking of doing yoga. But just wanted to know have I left it all too late??

I did yoga throughout my pregnancy as well as swimming and aqua running.

It doesn't matter if you haven't done yoga before or whether you start it early or late in your pregnancy because you will definitely benefit from it. at an absolute minimum it will relax you. you will also find it helps strech your pelvic area and prepare you mentally for the birth. it's also good to be around other pregnant women and share experiences etc.

Yes - relaxation, a greater understanding of your body and increased flexibility which will help with labour.
