Will i slim down if i do yoga? |
if i do yoga will i lose weight or lose my big stomach? both That depends on many factors.. other exercise? Your diet plays a big role, you could exercise and do yoga all you want but if you eat all junk and fast food, it wont make much of a difference. If you follow a healthy diet then you should lose weight. You will drop a few pounds and feel more relaxed but you need exercise like running etc to lose that gut. I know this sounds weird, but I lost more weight and got in better shape doing Yoga than any other exercise. I used to do Spinning classes 2 in a row etc., like some serious cardio and weights, but nothing helped me lose weight except Yoga and Pilates. I have no idea why, it doesn't make scientific sense because you don't burn the same calories as with strenuous cardio, but I guess it's been around for thousands of years and there is something behind all this Yoga stuff. It really worked for me! yes if you do the morning salutation to the sun and the evening exercises also about 30 minutes of extra exercise should help bring a differance about not if you're eating twinkies while doing your yoga YES.Diet is very important for a true YOGi.---The verse goes like this " a YOGI eats once day-A BOGI(indulgent) eats twice a day--A ROGI(Sick person) eats 3 times a day |
