I exercise regularly but I can't get rid of my stomach fat. I do pilates/yoga . . . anything else to help?? |
I work out at the gym about 3 days a week. I do pilates/yoga about twice a week. I have also tried doing crunches (although they hurt my neck). This is a normal problem with most people. Thin body with a round stomach, this is what few of my friends have. Maybe this few suggestions will help. Do not eat too much each time. Eat only twice a day. Lunch and dinner. Cut down or possible, better still, do not eat meat (Pork, Mutton or beef). Human-being, actually do not need meat in our body because Meat contains too much oil/Fat. Eat more fruit or vegetable. Reduce usage of cooking oil in your food. Drink more green tea everyday. And further more if you want to you can try to eat a handful of Chinese Black Fungus every lunch. You can obtain this fungus in any chinese grocery-shop. Soak it in water for half an hour then clean it properly before cooking.(Do not overcooked it- 2-3 mins will do) This fungus help get rid of the fat in your stomach. Try it for a month, maybe it will help, and it wont hurt your neck. Good luck. liposuction All crunches will do is give you strong stomach muscles underneath your fat. You must expend more calories than you take in, it doesn't matter what style of exercise you do. Pilates is not great for calorie reduction. Run, swim, walk. Eat less. You can try cutting your portion sizes in half as well as eating twice as many fruits and veggies that meat and carbs. This has been working for me lately! Life!! Cardio exercises is a nice way of burning the excess fat e.g running, walking, swimming and dance aerobics. Pilates and yoga are not effective for burning the excess abdominal fat. Also eat less fatty foods, avoid missing breakfast. When yo buy any food at the groceries make sure it has less than 4g of fat per 100g. Try this.. lay down on a bench press, have someone hold the bar for you or put lots of weight so it doesn't move around, now grab the bar, and lift your legs up to a 90 degree angle, and let them back down rinse and repeat you'll feel it on your lower abs (the pudge area.) Also, the most effective exercise for your abs it the bicycle exercise, as in you lay on your back and place your arms behind your head and sit up slightly and touch your elbow to your opposite knee, and vice versa if your having a hard time understanding my description, here's some pics. First exercise- (copy and paste) http://www.bestabs.com/resources/exercis... Second (bicycle) - http://z.about.com/d/exercise/1/0/k/a/bi... good luck! |
