I am already following a strict diet and indulge in 1hr of cardio session.Can anyone help me with anyother suggestions as to how i can bring abt this weight loss gradually over a span of a year?
yoga really doesn't do anything for helping lose weight. the best way to help you burn calories is cardio. since you're already doing plenty, try to do some light lifting. lift very small weights for many reps, this will make lean muscle so you wont look bulky but will also help you burn fat. make sure to stretch. good luck It really depends what kind of yoga. If it's geared towards building strength/muscle then it can help because muscle tissue uses up more calories than fat tissue. It can also help you in other ways for example with your breathing more effectively when you're doing other exercises.
