what is yoga for? is it good?? lol :] A healthy body and mind... To enhance the flexibility and fitness of the body to assist in the enlightenment of the soul. It is as good as the practitioner is serious. "Light On Yoga," BKS Iyengar yoga is to relax your body, and mind. It also gives you an exercise even if it doesn't feel like it its relaxing, calms your mind, increases flexibility, and tones and strengthens your muscles. yoga is relaxation therapy with some better body benefits. I personally don't think it is THAT relaxing and the good it does for your body is minimal in my opinion but it is working out nonetheless and therefore good for you but there are other options personally. its just to relex just with your body, if u want my veiw no it kinda off the wall yoga is basically a stress reliever,and somewhat of a suttel exercise/workout. |
