What does yoga do? does it help you lose fat? or gain muscle? or helps you stretch? help please? There are many benefits of yoga. It will not help you lose fat on its own, but combined with other cardio exercise it will. For the muscles, yoga makes them stronger and more flexible, it won`t gain you muscle. Yoga will help you strech, that is one of the main purposes. It makes you more flexible. The other benefits are: Relaxation - it calms you down and reduces stress. Concentration - practising the exercises will improve your concentration. Toning - yoga exercises the glands and organs. It improves respiration and energy. Yoga also relieves pain and improves athletic performance. It makes you feel and look young. Hope this helps and that i`ve explained well. Depends on type of yoga. Yoga will help U stay flexible. Any movement will help burn calories but I do not believe it does much for your heart. People I know who do yoga every day are slender. I did some basic yoga classes at 24 Hour Fitness. It was great! I had fun doing the stretches, it helped me gain some flexibility and burns calories! |
