Doing yoga is one of the fastest ways to change your body to a higher muscle content. as you increase your muscle mass, your body will need to burn more calories to simply operate, and you will therefore lose both inches and weight. Keep in mind, however, that muscle weighs more than fat, so first you will lose inches, and with time the fat will also melt away. I have had a no impact restriction for several years now as a result of a spinal injury, and yoga has been great. It also makes you REALLY flexible!
No. Actually, I heard that is used for relaxing and cleaning your soul.
I've done yoga and thought it was worthless and boring. You're only going to lose weight through diet and exercise.
its usually for relaxing the mind, musles (bones?) maybe the relaxation helps with weight loss, I imagine it would do, you should try co-dieting with it, see if it works?
I do Yoga mostly every day and it definitely improves your balance and slims you down. You don't lose a lot of weight with yoga, but you definitely feel great!
