Why does Bikram yoga give me headaches?



I've only gone to class a few times so far but during all the laying down and getting up parts I get a headache that lastsfor days. Does it go away? Does my body get used to the positions/heat eventually?

Yoiu sound extremely dehydrated. You probably need to drink a lot more water before and try drinking an Emergency (that powder vitamin that you put in water) or Vitamin water anything to replace your electrolytes after.
I got headaches a the first couple times but once I got in the habit of drinking plenty water before and after I felt great. You know you sweat like crazy in there so just be sure to keep yourself hydrated for many hours before practicing! I love Bikram yoga! Good luck!
