Whats good for stomach flu??

what can you drink or eat without throwing up. liquid diet?

Go easy on the food. Find something that you like to eat but that is really light.

Tea-(chamomille, ginger, peppermint...)

Soup-chicken noodle works wonders (don't eat anything creamy)

DRINK WATER!! yet slowly, it helps wash out your insides

GINGER!!! anything with ginger...ginger ale, ginger cubes, ginger root. just don't go heavy on it keep it light and at intervals

Gatorade- it has electrolytse which are helpful for digestion and many body functions.

Avoid milk, alchohol, and acidy things like orange juice, tomatoe juice.

Reintroduce food slowly with toast and honey for breakfast, or pieces of fruit. I know this sound ridiculous but baby food is the best since it is produced to be simple for a babies sensative taste and digestion process.

REST!! no tv, not a lot of reading, sleep all the way!!! :)

If your vommitting consitently avoid cold drinks
Keep your food light and basic. It cannot be very complicated and elaborate it must be simple and yes strong in water, because it is going to take a while for your stomach to be able to digest any carbs, fats, or protiens.

These really help.

it helps.sip gingerale eat saltine crackers
Depends on the severity of the illness. Try water first to see if you can tolerate that - if not, don't ingest anything until you can tolerate water. Some people can eat crackers and Sprite to calm their stomachs. When you're sick, it just takes a little trial and error to see what you can keep down. If you have severe vomiting and can't keep anything down for more than a day, see a doctor immediately.
Ginger tea can help calm your stomach. Try sipping that very slowly.
If you can keep water down, also try some hot herbal teas such as chamomile tea, drinking 2 to 3 cups a day. This helps soothe the stomach. At the first sign of a virus, another herbal tea made with equal parts elderflowers and linden flowers. Steep for 10 minutes, and drink 2 large cups of it and rest. This tea will cause you to sweat and bring down a fever and stimulates immunity. If you can keep fluids down, then try bland foods such as crackers, soups or broth, jello etc. Tea tree oil is also an effective remedy against viral infections. Use it in a diffuser or in an evening bath. It kills viruses, bacteria, and pathogens.
